One time I passed a 7 foot long alligator on a nice abandoned road. The only problem was my mom had locked herself out of the apartment and I had to go rescue her so I couldn’t stop. So I figured, okay, not a problem, I’ll get it on the drive home. So I’m driving back home,and I circle the street like five times, almost going back to my mom’s apartment a couple of times and almost going to my house a couple times before I realized it was gone and I had lost my chance to skin a 7 foot alligator because my mom needed rescuing. To this day I still think about the gator that never was.
